I've been at this since 2008 — when I started building independent platforms, events, and brands from scratch. Since then I've designed and launched my own ventures (SHHHH, Compendia, Tropico, Samu Studio, Artel and more), worked across editorial photography and film, run social-first publishing for an audience of ~18,000, partnered with brands across hospitality, fashion and lifestyle, and learned what works the hard way — by doing it.

  • The Direction (£895): Full day, in person. For working through a brand properly — positioning, voice, audience, naming, look-and-feel direction. You leave with a written summary document and a clear path forward.

  • The Workshop (£1,795): Two days, in person — ideally off-site or at your studio. The full deep-dive: naming, positioning, brand identity direction, social strategy, web direction, content thinking, a written summary, and recommended next steps. Best for founders launching something serious, or small teams that want to align around a shared direction.

What's included (all options):

  • Pre-session call to understand where you are and what you're trying to solve

  • All the conversation, ideation, sketching, debate, and direction during the session itself

  • Written summary with recommendations sent within 7 days

  • 30 days of follow-up via WhatsApp or email — for the questions that surface afterwards

What I can connect you with: I work in a network of brilliant independents — copywriters, illustrators, animators, app developers, branding designers, photographers, sound designers, set builders, web developers. If something you need is outside my wheelhouse, I'll often know exactly the right person to introduce you to. This isn't an extra cost — it's just how I work.

What I don't do: I'm not your animator, your developer, or your designer of finished assets. I work at the strategic and directional layer — what the brand is, what it says, how it sits in the world, what it should look and feel like. Then the right specialists deliver the finished work. I can be involved beyond that as creative director, but it's a separate engagement.

Travel: Norfolk & East Anglia included. London & rest of UK invoiced separately, quoted upfront. Worldwide travel welcome — agreed in writing.
