3daysofdesign 2025 — Copenhagen
I joined the official photographers team for 3daysofdesign 2025, Denmark's annual design festival in Copenhagen. The commission ran from 17–18 June 2025, accompanied by a press tour through sixteen Copenhagen design venues. Delivered with a 24-hour turnaround across socials, newsletter, web, and the festival's brand archive.

The work
The 2025 edition was the eleventh — over 400 exhibitors, 45,000 visitors, 200 press from 500 publications. The theme: KEEP IT REAL.
Wide shots of showroom interiors. Detail shots of products and materials. Portraits of designers. Talks in progress. Press in dialogue with designers and each other. People eating, drinking, cycling between venues. The afterparties and long dinners. Day one moved through 25hours Hotel, Royal Danish Academy, Louis Poulsen, Fora Form, Openhouse, Dagmar, Hem, Formarkivet, Rockfon, and a long dinner at Bjarke Ingels Group. Day two covered String Furniture, Desalto, Occhio, The Sound of Material, Reboco, Material Matters.
The press tours move fast — The discipline isn't in the staging, it's in the eye and quick reactions to moments worth capturing. Shooting through the day and into the evening; back to the hotel at night to edit; files uploaded inside 24 hours so the team could publish them the next morning.
I've been invited back to document the 2026 edition.

Yes. Same-day editing and 24-hour turnaround is a standard part of how I work for live festivals, press tours, and brand activations — frames culled, processed, and uploaded overnight so the client team can publish them the next morning across social, newsletter, web, and press.

Yes. Most festival commissions include travel and place coverage — the city the festival sits in, the venues, the food, the in-between moments. Compendia's 72 Hours In editorial series is a regular companion format alongside event commissions, useful for festivals, tourism boards, and destination marketing teams.
