25hours Hotel Copenhagen — Autumn Stay
25hours brought me over to Copenhagen for an autumn stay across both their properties — two nights on Paper Island and two in Indre By — through Compendia. The commission was twofold: make a set of cosy, autumn-led assets the hotels could use themselves, and run editorial coverage across Compendia.
The work
25hours build each hotel around its city rather than dropping a template into it, and Copenhagen is two of them — the Paper Island property out on the harbour in Christianshavn, and the Indre By property in the old centre. The brief ran on two levels at once: photography and short-form video the hotels could use across their own channels, and an editorial layer for Compendia, so the stay produced both a set of assets and a genuine feature.
I shot it in autumn on purpose. The low northern light and the short grey days are exactly what you want for interiors — they lean into the cosy, hygge feeling Danish design does so well, and they make a warm room feel like somewhere you'd rather not leave. The frames run across the rooms, the bars and restaurants, the spa and sauna, and the smaller details that make each place feel like itself, alongside short-form video cut for Instagram Reels.
A selection of the images have since been published across 25hours Copenhagen's own Instagram, and we're currently in talks about a second visit.
